My name is Tony Hill and I am a Westside NET and Westside BRIDGE graduate. I am thankful to my case manager Judy McDaniel for recommending me for this program because I have a learning disability and this class has helped me to grow professionally. I have always been scared to speak in front of people. This class gave me the courage to walk in a room and not be scared to talk. My class was taught soft skills. Learning soft skills made me think about all the things I did wrong on previous jobs. Also, I did not know how to use a computer, do my resume or answer questions at a job interview. But I must say, I can use the computer a little better, I know what to put on my resume and I'm more comfortable on job interviews.
I would tell anyone the program really works. Before I took this class I did not have money, confidence, food or a job. Now I have all these things. I now work on the Beautification team and I love my job! I am so happy the Integrity staff believes in me and have given me the chance to show how hard I work.
